Sky reporter to Evertonian: "Why are you travelling to Southampton on a Monday night?!"

Evertonian: "Because of you lot."

What does he mean by this exactly or does he just mean because everyone hates us?

I think he's making reference to the fact that Sky chose it as a live monday night game.

In Spain every single La Liga game kicks off at a different time, one on a friday night, 4 on saturday 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, 4 on a sunday 11pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm and one on a monday - and the clubs are only given about 10 days notice

In Spain every single La Liga game kicks off at a different time, one on a friday night, 4 on saturday 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, 4 on a sunday 11pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm and one on a monday - and the clubs are only given about 10 days notice

That's worse obviously. But still every game at 3 on sat is better.
