For the foreseeable future?Im not sure about that at all.I actually find your taunting and goading of @Professor Toffee , to be highly disrespectful and inappropriate!(n)
What goading and taunting? If you want to see the levels that can get too have a look around the city or dundalk forums or Twitter. Highly disrespectful? What in God's name have I said that is disrespectful? They had their time and now it's ours, to point that out is hardly disrespectful. Inappropriate?? Again where? This is a football forum, we beat them to the league and yesterday we beat them in the cup final, after all their nonsense in the build up. Fair enough if @Professor Toffee wants to take issue with something I've said, I'll have a look at it, but Im not having you being morally outraged on his behalf.

calm down @NeroCeasar and @Cork Evertonian
Was at the match, thought Dundalk had done enough in the 2nd half to have won it but they didn't score
When we scored I thought that was it as Cork had dropped further and further back
However Cork scored and had clearly practiced penalties
I was livid and sad but I have no issues with the result, sometimes the better team doesn't win and that has happened for the last 2 cup finals
I have no animosity towards Cork or their supporters and I'm happy that a well supported club is prospering.
I dont think they are a patch on the Dundalk double team with Richie and Daryl and Andy Boyle etc but thats life
We'll go off and lick our wounds sign a proven goalscorer and rip it up next season
Love to Cork x

BTW I thought Brian Gartland's injury was the turning point, no way Cork would have scored that goal as Brian would have marshalled the defence properly

You will always have regrets when you lose on penalties. But i feel that with back to back FAI Cups and a League title, that this Cork City team has proven it's worth.

Goading and taunting. Those words were an overreaction on my part alright.Look at the end of the day im delighted that we cleaned up this year, and im delighted that Dundalk, will have to make do with feasting on the crumbs off the table for this season.lol

I don't agree with the better team lost on the day stuff. We had the 1st half and ye had the 2nd half, then ye had the 1st half of et and we had the 2nd. You are right , when ye scored I and most others couldn't see a way back for us as we never looked like scoring up to that point. Rodgers did make a great save in the 90th minute to deny Benno though. We play not to lose rather then play to win and it drives me cuckoo, once he picked Keohane and benched Sadlier yesterday, it set the tone. It was only once we got Bolger on and he played some ball and Sadlier played at 10 that we started to look a bit dangerous. Your right we aren't a patch on yere team of 2 years ago and I have no problem admitting that. We are going to lose a fair few bodies over the winter and JC has a huge job to replace them, honestly I'm not sure he will

It's an interesting one because he was clearly concussed, but we have all seen players allowed to play on in those circumstances. I was delighted to see the medical staff put their foot down with him and say your not playing on and that was that. I hope that becomes the trend across all football going forward
