Indeed, although id say this applies mainly to the older generation (40+) who didn't grown up with tech.

Nowadays it feels like your average 12 year old knows how to build a pc from scratch

I was fairly competent in all things gadetdry a few years back
Got seperated .went on the lash for months ,met a new lady (with all that entails ) took my eye off the gadgetry ball and when I looked the whole computer Landscape had changed
