I still don’t think we’re all that personally.

We're not, but there is hopefully a lot more to come from this team. I don't think we've clicked yet. The key is to get points whilst we're still not 100%. Today we had good spells but were let down by a lack of composure, and we weren't at our best in the final third. We've managed to get 3 points though, so that's the main thing.

Short of a top class striker and if Gomes is injured like he has been we are desperately short of quality in the middle but we are much better in most positions than we have been for a while.

30m and go and get the palace right back before they all come in for him.

i watched couple of palace games, hes still very young and inexperienced you can see that but he have lots of potential, however i wouldnt spent 30m on him hes not like luke shaw in southampton yet. we gotta wait and see if hes really class or had a good form

Mate he is quality and only going to get better i have seen him a few times now and barring injury the big boys will be in shortly get him in january..Don't

We do actually have some strength in depth now. If we have a policy of only buy real quality we could find ourselves with a squad capable of challenging the top four next season. However that would require us to invest in a striker of champions league quality - that is the missing piece of the jigsaw

Lookman, Calvert Lewin, Tosun, Davies, Mina on the bench as real options now. Last season they’d all be starting.
It’s nice to see we finally have depth.
