You know these managers my good man. They have minds of their own and when they get people they like and that they feel is doing the job for them they will select them.

Having said that, Andrews didn't do much tonight. But he'll start against Croatia. Nailed on.

For a good year trap told Gibson he wouldn't get his place as long as he sat on uniteds bench, it wouldn't be my starting XI but I respect traps loyalty!

This year Darron Gibson has played 15 Premier League/FA Cup games for us since January, one more than Keith Andrews. And he's a far, FAR better player.

Yea but Andrews and whelan an had already pretty much played in all the qualifiers. He is a far better player and I'd say he'll feature against Spain but these two lads have earned their start against Croatia
