The departure of Shandy has freed up the lucky number 7 shirt. Since Jo's return, he doesn't seem to have been given the number 11 again. Any thoughts on squad numbers for the upcoming season?

Wouldn't mind seeing Fellaini 11 and Elm 7 personally.
 

I hope that we sign Elm and that he's given number 7, I'd rather see Fellaini in the number 8 shirt. And I also wish that Howard could come to his senses and ask to be handed the no. 1 shirt, the first choise keeper should ALWAYS have no. 1 on the back of his shirt.

Stevie P's earned that number with his form in the last few months. Naughton can therefore have the number 20; has a '2' in it so suits his position, and is similar to his Sheff Utd number (30). Jo should get back the 11 as a show of faith. Cana sounds like the closest thing to a 'proper' number 8 we've had in years. Fellaini suits 25, an unusual number for an unusual player. Elm will have to settle for 19 or something, doesn't sound like he'd be an automatic starter straight away.*

*Obviously that all depends on who we sign, I'm just indulging the current speculation.
 

Current shirt numbers have not changed so there won't be moving around as new shirts are already advertising numbers for players already in the club.

the club wouldn't be allowed to sell shirts with the old numbers on knowing that players will change, they'd wait or ask the squad at the beginning of pre-season. but i would love to have pienaar as the number 7, defo have that shirt!

If you care to mosey on down to "the store" you'll find all the squad numbers you want to put on that lovely new shirt of yours.

Everton Home Shirt 2009/10

On the right hand side, called "shirt printing" with all squad numbers in the drop down menu called conveniently "Squad list". Now why would numbers on the store and why would people be asked to put them on their brand new shirts if they're gonna change?
