If you take out the players that are in the first team and may leave; Lukaku, Barkley and Stones. We are in a similar position to last season, when we needed a play maker and a left winger, we still need those players, plus a keeper.

Don't get me wrong we need other "Squad Players", to support the first team, but I'm hoping we can pick these up fairly cheap or through the development squad.

I think we are possibly looking at bringing in 6 first team players, if Lukaku, Barkley and Stones all leave. Which is not the sort of recruitment we have done for many years.

If we sign them and who we sign will depend on, who is managing us and what their budget looks like

Our squad is pretty big anyway, I think you could get rid of those 5 and McGeady and only really really replace them with 3 or 4 players. Can see Kone and Mirallas leaving too, both of whom we'll need better replacements for.

Triple the tv money and id be embarrassed if we saw less than 90mil for the pair of rom and stones

Stones played like crap but will probably be worth more this year and given his position I'm wouldn't be suprised if we made a profit on Kone.

I think only 11 players are safe as squad players + most likely Baines, Barry and Jags seeing out their careers with us meaning 14 players out of 22 needed for 2 players in each position.

Galloway, Browning,Pennington and perhaps 3 or 4 other players in the squad also.

This is why i think De Boer is a good option as manager as he brings through young players.

First 3 signings of Janssen from AZ and Bazoer from Ajax would be ideal along with Rico or Leno.
