Spurs can't do customer service for Toffee

I had trouble getting in to Spurs myself many moons ago. Just loads of people with a horrible attitude of "You're not OUR fan so we dont care"

To be fair he should have gone to trading standards.

Because their refusal to even look at the "purchase" due to "a technical problem" is almost certain a violation of an implied contract - that he would get a seat at the match - which they couldn't complete on due to a technical fault at THEIR end. This is probably a breach of Unfair Terms in Consumer Contract Regulations 1999


OH and Tottenham Hotspur are also in violation of their own terms and conditions of ticket sale!

They can refund:
2.3 Match tickets can be refunded only if they are returned to the Ticket Office no later than 7 days prior to the date of the fixture. This relates to all Members purchasing via the One Hotspur Members Priority Sales, Guest Ticket sales and all general ticket sales. All Match Tickets/Season Tickets issued are strictly non-transferable.

Although the above is probably an unfair clause - when its A TECHNICAL FAULT preventing entry.


And the lad could have been offered the opportunity to pay the difference if they really did think it was a concession ticket.
8.3 In the event that a concession Member is unable to attend a match it is possible to upgrade the ticket by visiting the Paxton Road Ticket Office and paying the difference between the concession and adult ticket price for the particular match.


If this was me I'd **** Tottenham Hotspur up. They're asking for it.
