After a great year of sport for this country who will win the prize?

Some great personalities been amongst it this year.

Personally I really like Nicola Adams and the fact she is the first ever womens gold medalist in boxing is immense.
 

Would be nice if Ellie Simmonds won it. I think it'll be

1. Wiggins
2. Farrah
3. Murray

Team of the year will be Team GB.
 
Moosed was spot on. It's been a tedious year for the media acting like right wing tits and jumping over any British sporting success. Some good achievements like, but it's been like Berlin 1937 with the Daily Mail pumping the hysteria up to sickening levels.

Personality indeed. I'd slot the Ennis everywhere though. MO BOT!
 

I think Wiggins will win, but to be honest I don't really care and think the whole show has kinda outlived itself by now. By all means have a year-end celebration of sport, but it seems a bit daft to have to pick a best out of so many outstanding candidates.
 
It's the most inherent xenophobic show on British TV right now.

Someone born on the same piece of rock (despite the place they're from probably not liking you because of your accent) as you done well in sports and will live a much wealthier life than you. Ace. Let's bump them up even more.

Seriously though, Murray has had a fantastic year, first slam by a Brit in a generation. Wiggins with the first TDF by a Brit ever. Farah with a double gold in the Olympics. Storey dominating her sport like no other. Ennis winning gold. Hoy becoming the most decorated British Olympian. The Irish lad won a major in golf and helped win the Ryder Cup. Ainslie won yet another gold.

I mean it's a crazy list and we've been so blessed this year with the success achieved, I just reckon saying well in to them all would be better than saying one is better than the rest.

She definitely has the most personality! Wiggins is a character, too - but if it was actually judged on personality Michael Owen and Mark Cavendish would never have even been shortlisted.

I actually think that if any of Wiggins, Ennis, Farrah or Murray won it it would be hard to argue against it. Any one of them would have been a shoo-in in any other year. Hell, I suppose you could say that about every one of the nominees this year.

I'll probably place a vote for Andy Murray but I think Wiggins will win. No, Ennis. Or Mo!

You're one bad choc ice lad. They hate you. But Murray is British and not Scottish this year so you'll roll over and let them tickle your tummy. This is after centuries of them pillaging your land, oppressing your people and raping (I actually pity them) your women. Sack that right off. Turn BBC Live Text off and get a shave.
