What’s the crack with them this year? Seem to be more than ever.

Seen some absolute massive ones this past few weeks in our house. Just killed a tarantula then.

Anyone else getting a big influx of these mutant beasts?

I keep scorpions and used to keep tarantulas - the wife isn't allowed to kill spiders in our house.

I used to kill them too until I manned up.

I haven't had so many in the house this year to be honest, although it's early days yet. I usually find Giant House spiders in the bath, they come in through the window and find they can't get out again. I have a glass and a piece of card handy to evict these out the way they entered. I always have loads of Daddy Long Legs appearing. Spiders aren't dangerous and don't do any damage.

I was at a bbq on satday night and there was this huge house spider on the wall next to the light , everyone was screaming and going mad, I calmly walked up to it and hoovered it up into my mouth and ate him !

the guests were in shock

theres one house spider that puts it sperm glands in to the female, does a somersault over the top of her and then proceeds to be eaten alive by her whilst still mating..
