My only speeding ticket to date was a good 17 years ago when I was clocked doing 59 in a 30, no surprise I had to show in court for the impending fine and boy did they spank my arse.

Anyway, share your stories or polish your halo every night before bed.
 

I got caught 3 years ago doing 100 down the motorway - it was fairly empty, but raining. Anyway yeah got 3 points on my license, could have went to court apparently but he was kind (apparently) and didnt put the speed down on my ticket when i had to report to the police station.

Dont really speed on the motorway now to be fair! Not because of that, just grew up abit!

Since passing my driving test a good 4 years ago ive been stopped by the police 6 times (and had a police helicopter follow me!) and only once was for a valid reason.
 

It must be said I feel sorry for anyone, Englanders especially, who has put up with PC sh¡te trotted out by the authorities when it's a clear as rain it's the biggest stealth tax known to man. I say whoever thought of the idea should be severely cock-punched.
 
Got caught thrice, but let off all times. First time was on a push bike when I overttok an old biddy in a mini going downhill . . not having noticed plod behind me.

Second time I got clocked doing 48 or so in 30 zone by two traffic cops on bikes.Luckily I was on L plates on a CG125 and we had a pleasant conversation about my upcoming Part 2 test.

Last time I was on Kawasaki doing about 95 in a 60 zone and got pulled over by another biker cop ... turned out he was bored and wanted to have a gossip about bikes . followed by a little race near Thirlmere.

Doing 100? Badass Dom, that could have ended a lot worse for you there, you can get a ban for doing over 100 can't you?

I got caught doing 34 in a 30 last week FFS. Got a Speed Awareness Course sometime soon. They planted a man on a bike right at the bottom of hill where I obviously gained a bit of extra speed (it's science). Ah well, gutted
 

56mph in a 30 zone a few months after i first passed me test, since then i had a close call up in Manchester but nothing else. I had a **** escort that looked nicked so i got pulled over loads in that for 'random vehicle stops', 'drug searches', etc but thanklyfully i'm in a little KA and they don't even look. :)
 
Got pulled over once in Ainsdale at 1am by a Fiesta panda car, was probably doing about 50 in the 30 zone when he saw me but he would have had to put his foot down to catch me LOL. Was slowed to about 40 by the time he could pace me. When he asked me how fast I was going I told him about 40 so was fairly upfront, let me off with a warning and asvised that a child could have run out in front of me, what a tit, was 1am if a child was out the parent should be locked up.

Since emigrating have never been stopped for speeding although there are some pretty awesome roads where you just know the cops aren't going to be where I give the WRX some gas.
 
Got a lift back after a night out from a lad i work with, he was going 140 at night on an unlit 60 road. No wonder i threw up everywhere when i got out of the car.
