Just seen it fly by, have to say that was breathtaking. To see something so high up, with people on it working for a world we will probably never really appreciate.

Jodrell Bank gave me the information, mate it was it. It was moving too quickly to be a plane. It was too bright to be a plane. I had the co-ordinations from Jodrell Bank and I had my compass out, it was spot on.

17,000 mph - that's some pace.

Positive mate. Now I know this is the Ale House, and it's supposed to be littered with piss takes, ribbings and all kinds of japes. But believe me I've just seen the Space Station. Google it if you don't believe me.

And how many Sky Lanterns travel that fast on that kind of trajectory. They don't - they rise and then they vanish. This flew over the horizon.

Not sure, it was last night too. Have to look it up. I'm made up cos the other week I missed the asteroid shower because of the clouds.

Apparently if I use my Sky Map application, then it will show me the position of sats and the i.s.s. so will give it a whirl tomorrow.

The astronauts just tweeted that whilst flying over the wirral peninsular they saw a lump moving around, they have reported it as an extraterrestrial being as they say it was far to fat to be human.
