Great interview - we need a bit of steel for the next 10 games instead of moaning about luck and the lack of it.
 

I read Nev's autobiography on holiday last year, a really good read and a great insight to the teams of the 80's and 90's.

He seems a decent bloke but it's clear he likes to keep himself to himself.
 
Good enough interview but I was a bit disappointed he didn't speak forthrightly about the Heysel ban.

He made out like it was an anti British thing, which it clearly wasn't otherwise the Jocks would have been excluded as well.

And he never mentioned the K word in connection with the deaths and the subsequent ban.

He bottled it there.

So Nev, if yer reading this la'........the ban should have been limited to one team and one team only.

i.e. The team whose supporters caused the mayhem.

And there would have been nowt anti British or even anti English about it.

Just a fitting punishment.
