It's good that they are protesting but as one of the comments says:

The women off India are protesting but it is also the women that put there sons on the pedestals and treat them like princes . So they go up thinking that they are better then there female siblings . So it is a vicious circle the women of India need to stand up and say it stops now and all my children are equals.

which is also very true
