Wasn’t Everything I Do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams the longest running no1 ever? From Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves

Honorable mentions to Whitney Houston's I will always love you from The Bodyguard and Wet Wet Wet's version of Love Is All Around from Four Weddings and a Funeral which were also long running number 1s.

The last two bond films have had the songs go to number 1. Sam Smith, The Writing's On The Wall from Spectre and Billie Eilish for No Time To Die from the upcoming film due to be released next month.

A few others I can think off the top of my head:

Chesney Hawkes, I Am The One And Only from Buddy's Song.
Phil Collins, Groovy Kind Of Love from Buster
Lady GaGa, Shallow from A Star Is Born
Cher, The Shoop Shoop Song from Mermaids

I went down the list of 80's number 1's and can spot these:

Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. (Rocky III)
Summer Nights by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. (Grease)
Xanadu by ONJ. (Same title for the film)
Fame by Irene Cara (Same as above)
I just called to say I love you by Stevie Wonder. (The woman in red)
Suicide is painless by The Mash. (M*A*S*H)
When the going gets tough, the tough get going by Billy Ocean. (The Jewel of the nile)

A few others that were hits earlier that got to no.1 off the back of films like Stand by me and La Bamba.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,
A Hard Days Night
Help.
Moon River
Summer Holiday.
Jailhouse Rock.
Wooden Heart
Wonderful World
Rock Around the Clock
(Theme from) A Summer Place
Shaft

Live and let die (us)
Georgy girl (aust)
