Don't post very often but long time lurker. Hope I could harness some of your expert advice and ask if anyone knows a good place to watch the Europa game on Thursday. Gonna be in Berlin for it.

Thanks in advance.

North of Friedrichstrasse station over the river here are a few decent spots including an Irish bar called the Kilkenny IIRC. I watched some Euro 2012 games there and there were plenty of screens available.

I haven't been to Berlin in neigh on ten years, however there was a bar not far from the KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens) on Tauentzienstraße.

It was next to a shopping mall called the Europa Centre and had English speaking staff and at the time most English games on.

I did think about putting a hidden link up to Berlin gay bars or animals humping but occassionally just stick a legit link up to keep people guessing.

Is there any place left in the world that does not have an 'Irish' pub?

When i went to Wolfsburg in november, we stayed in Hanover for 2 nights and vowed to sample the old traditional German pubs, but ended up in a boss Irish pub (The Dublin) which was chocker full of blues singing all night long, got thrown out at 4.30am . . . What a night

I watched the away game vs Spurs in the Kilkenny Irish pub at the Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station. Was fine in there and really easy to find (its literally in the same building as the station)

Also watched a game last season in another Irish pub somewhere in Charlottenberg near the Adenauerplatz U-Bahn. Bit quieter in there but was also fine.
