...don't you wish you stayed in bed. I am sat at LAX getting ready to board my plane for New Mexico and they come over the intercom that we are delayed 2 hours.....I might not make my job today. Feckin' PITA!!!!!

I hate airport parking. £36 for one night in Short Stay at Gatwick.

Gotta go to the island of Ireland on Wednesday ffs.

Not all bad, but won't get to see any of Belfast.

£36 for one night!? Chuff that. You getting a lift? =)

Paying for parking, paying for taxi's or airports. Top 3 things I hate

Funny Gatwick and LAX have been mentioned, I've just found a flight for next summer between those 2, but it's a lot more than I hoped =(

Save a few quid by walking to the airport Al', you heard it here first.

What you plannin in LA? road trip :)?

Today I took the flyaway, which is a $14 round trip and $4 a day parking. I have come out of LAX and Burbank airports with $150 parking fees. I can expense it all though.

And no muggins, I don't get paid anywhere near enough....

14 bucks for a round trip? That's cheap mate.

We get mugged off big time here for flights.

£3.99 each way (great) airport taxes and emissions £36.99 (what?) choose your seat £7.99 extra (eh?) hold luggage £14.99 (you're joking) online check in £9.99 (no way!) paying by card £3.99 (WTF happened to my cheap flight...

Sure thing man, don't think I've mentioned it in enough threads yet

Dylan, what's the best Airport going? I remember being on a train at Atlanta Airport which felt like about 20 mins once, getting from side to another. It was sooooo big it was ridiculous

I'd love to go back to Cali'...

But I remember the Star Tours ride at MGM in Orlando, Florida, being boss and scary when I was about 13.

Went last year, and it looked at bit crap and old.

Last time i was in LA, I remember Hollywood being a bit rough round near Manns theatre and the stars on the floor etc.

I bet it's crack city these days.

Bugger all use for LA but in my humble opinion, Schipol, Amsterdam is the benchmark for world airports. Clean, well laid out and very very helpful staff.

Doofus!!! $14 is for a roundtrip on the Flyaway to the airport!!! The bus that goes from Van Nuys in the porn capital of the world (San Fernando valley) to LAX.

My flights, all totalled came out to $1200 (LAX to Albuquerque NM, Albuquerque NM to Tuscon AZ, Tuscon AZ to LAX).

Atlanta is the biggest/busiest airport in the world now.

Star Tours at Disneyland has been redone, reopened in the last few months. Much better than the old one.

I hate all the add ons for flights now, you think you've got a good price and it never ends up the same as what you clicked on to begin with. Saying that, we do have some of the cheapest flights in the world so not all bad.

Getting hold of a car park contract at an airport is a license to print money. Saying that, I think they're all owned by BAA down there which have or had a lovely racket on pretty much everything.
