Hey there but we spent 2mil on George Green? who needs strikers?

Ok - for a start why do these 2 statements contradict each other.

Moyes basically says we need a striker - Im not sure how much money we have to spend & strikers are expensive.

well even if we have all the Arteta money - thats £10m - look at how much TOP strikers are going for these days -thats the point. To go from also rans to Euro spot challengers we need a Top striker not just an Andy johnson or Jermaine Beckford - we need a Defoe or someone of similar ilk which could cost all of that and more - unless we find a bargain or one thats out of favour and in need of a move.

People have jumped on this statement to say hes not getting any money - but it doesnt say that -

If you wanted a positive spin you could write that it says he doesnt know how much - normally he says 'we dont have any money to spend so we are stuck with loan deals!' This means he obviously has some to spend!
