Player Valuation: £70m
Bootle FC play host to their illustrious neighbours Evertonon Thursday 3rd May in the semi-final of the Liverpool Senior Cup. The tie holds a lot of anticipation due to the historic past of both teams, especially in this competition. The game is billed as the 'original derby' as the two teams were fierce rivals before the football league was formed. Everton were elected into the football league, while Bootle, initially playing in the Football Alliance and the new 2nd division were soon replaced by new neighbours Liverpool FC due to financial troubles.

Everton hold the record for number of wins in the Senior Cup with 45 wins and their last being back in 2007; while Bootle are 3 times winners, the last time however was way back in 1889.

Bootle are hoping that another good turnout for this game after over 1000 spectators turned out to watch the Bucks v the Toffees back in 2010, with the visitors to the Delta Taxis Stadium coming away with a 2-4 win, including two penalties. The Bucks are hoping for a similar night, with a different result at the end.

“The game back in February 2010 was a roaring success, with our best attendance at the Delta Taxis Stadium. Everyone enjoyed the night, the atmosphere was excellent and, despite the result everyone at the club was on a high.â€￾

Although the game is not all ticket, it is recommended to purchase a ticket as if the game is as successful as 2010 then a lockout will be expected. To purchase a ticket please e-mail jdoranbfc@gmail.com or visit the Delta Taxis Stadium. Tickets are on sale up to the day of the game priced at £4 perAdult, £2 Concessions
