I am currently down to just twitter which is getting deleted before New years eve at the latest as its a proper sesspit for attention seeking dangers.

I deleted FB many years ago (Not arsed what you've had for tea or what car you've bought)
Instagram has been deleted about 2 years ago (Don't care if you're out with the missus in a fancy restaurant pretending to be happy)
Never had snapchat
Never had Tiktok
I've deleted LinkedIn last year
I'm not on any other forums only GOT (I question myself why I'm even here sometimes then i go in the bomb shelter thread and think 'This is why')

Could you become social media free?
Do we need it in our lives?
What do you use social media for?

For me they are all platforms of misinformation, we all take information from social media that suits our argument.

The world and us humans have become very toxic and divided because of it, its getting worse day by day.

*Yes i know I'm saying all this on kind of a social media platform before some smart arse points it out.
I'm GOT only now

Used to have LinkedIn, now retired so don't need. Used to have Facebook, found it to be useless, deleted. Was on Twitter for a while especially around the 2020 U.S. election. Found it to be so toxic i deleted that too. I wont be going back.

1. Dunno.
2. Yes, it's emerged as the dominant communication medium. It's bad in its current form, but it will grow until the next big thing. Social media is only a social construct/convention. It is toxic and terrible because we haven't yet built sufficient norms to self-police, but also because people have a huge capacity for being terrible, just like people have a capacity for being extremely kind and welcoming.
3. News and chatting with some friends and randoms.
