I went to the first one in Bournemouth last night, and it really is a great night out! Night started off well when we were encouraged to sing "sit down Pinnochio" at Phil Thompson!
The night itself is a combination of Q&A, quiz, discussion and stories from the ex-pros. Kammy mingles in the audience and a special guest (in this case 'Arry Redknapp) does a quick 2 or 3 minute piece/mini interview just after the interval. Paul Merson explained why he wasn't cut out for management, and Charlie Nicholas joins in. Jeff Stelling does his usual sterling job of holding the whole thing together, as well as encouraging p*** taking amongst the panel!
I believe they are up in Liverpool in May!
