i dont think playing usa and algeria is a higher level than playing in the prem! We are good enough to be potential winners on paper, for whatever reason they dont perform as a team.

In a world cup it appears to be. The only reasons why the England players do not play for their country as well as they do for their club teams must either be....

1. They are not good enough?

2. They don't want to?

3. The manager is somehow 'oppressing them' into a 'regime' they do not agree with, which is reflecting on their performances. Notably Gerrards post match interview. When he was asked what went wrong, he didn't pull the "suprised scouser" face, he pulled the "I know what went wrong, its that skeletor faced Cappello with all his bright ideas.." look. Watch the interview to see it in its full glory. He was livid.

I do agree, on Pro Evo, Fifa, and on paper England are a strong team capable of doing well. But i'm starting to ignore the paper and say what I see...

I meant England supporters should be judged. I'm of the new generation I guess, where we are actually 'football fans' as opposed to being 'club fans only'. We are able to compliment another club and still be able to sleep at night.
