Not to my knowledge. We haven't had any down in our area either. Just about every overpass has ice on it though and Houstonians don't have a clue when it comes to driving in wintery conditions.

I was actually thinking about you recently Bill, and how much of a pain it must be to not be able to log on when all our UK brothers are awake.

I was actually thinking about you recently Bill, and how much of a pain it must be to not be able to log on when all our UK brothers are awake.

At my old firm, it was no problem to get on during the day and I would from time to time just to see what was happening or to weigh in on a hot topic or issue that was happening at that time.

At my new company, the first day I tried to log on, it was blocked as a "sports page/recreation/forum/newsgroup" site which one section of websites that they don't allow. That really surprised me to be honest.

Thats entirely understandable hence the tv info commercials on dealing with the ice.

My wife has just told me her friend has heard its going to hit parts of Mississippi too in the coming days- crazy stuff
