Yes, the one that hasn't happened, what happened? Does anyone know? Is it going to happen? Have I missed it while catching up with Hollyoaks or something?

come again?
There was a massive leak some months ago that Labour were due to announce the DK decision at the party conference. It was supposed to be in favour the rationale being it is a jobs boost to the economy.

Conference is almost over, the communities secretary has spoken (he gave a law and order speech I believe), but no announcement.

Just trying to find out what happened to the supposed announcement, because it means that we will have to wait until November now at tthe earliest for a decision (and I assume that is if there are no appeals.)

Some spin king released a rumour that meant a few more people payed attention to the conference. I suppose a few more is a few more than usually pay attention.

Ross made his usual foot-in-mouth statement that if no word was given during the conference then the club would assume the worst. I think it was a pathetic attempt to force the decision earlier than the November 27th cut off point. I wouldn't read anything into it not being announced. It'll be made in the Secretary of State's own sweet time...he wont be prompted by a Leeds United supporting gofer.

I blame Kenwrong for sure.

Kenwright will currently be shedding his New Labour cloak and chummying up to the Bullingdon Club Tory [Poor language removed] who'll be in power early next Spring no doubt. He'll have a story about sitting on the barriers in the boys pen at the House of Commons cheering on Anthony Eden.
