So now Wyness has suggested that the potential new stadium must have a potential 75,000 capacity. I'm naievely hopeing that Wyness is sincere about this and this is not just a ploy to rule out other alternatives, however my gut feeling is that the club would have no intention of having a 75,000 capacity stadium. Why would they when our current attendance is around the 35,000 average mark.

I'd love to believe this was true, and id love it even more if we had a 75,000 seater stadium, packed out with blues, but I just cant see it, it seems a little far fetched in my mind. To get 75,000 fans your gonna need quite a lot of glory fans, and we're some way off that kind of position.

Whats everyone think?

75,000 people competing with tesco customers to get in the site?

pricing.

make going to the match competative and fans will come along and spend.

If it was a case of lowering the overall cost of each ticket to increase demand to fill a larger stadium then that would be good, but lets be honest they'll just be greedy and charge the same price and hope the double their cash.

Somehow I cant see many people wanting to shop when 50,000 football fans are gonna be everywhere.

You could replace his name with any other investor or would be chairman, no one would pass up such an opportunity.

It's modern day football. I think i read that Liverpool were going to take out a 500 million loan! It's gone crazy. We can't stay at Goodison because it does not make enough money. We can't redevelop it to remove obstructed views because it wont make enough money. Money Money Money!!
