I'm not being rude... But how can you possibly be a fan of bobby? Serious question ....
I worry about telling you mate only because I really don't want to open myself up for abuse but:

I enjoyed season 1 more than any other football season in 20 years.

I think a few things out of his control went badly for him.

He made mistakes though, and alot of them too.

I agree but we still should have made the change earlier.

The done deals all seem at this stage, to have been excellent business.

Overall, I would not equate good results at this early point with a successful overall execution of transfer business.

We remain light in several areas and whilst our first XI will be a match for most opponents when on form, our bench isn't as strong as some of our peers and you would expect that to come into play to our detriment as the season progresses.

I was quite disappointed at the end of the window - it was clear we missed out on several targets which is even more frustrating given how quickly those we have signed have gelled and contributed. Given how well the new signings have done, you feel that another 2 or 3 chosen by Koeman / Walsh would have had a similar likelihood of success and would have given us depth and options.

If we are in the Top 6 come January there might be scope to spend on one or two players but for me the club did not do enough overall to support the manager for transfers and must certainly improve on this next summer.

Too often in the past we have enjoyed relatively good/prolonged levels of form and consistency only to falter because of a lack of spending power. Now that we are supposedly better off, it would be great to be able to marry an improvement in on-field performances and results with more tangible success in attracting and signing players. We need all aspects of our operations to be improving at the required levels to build on Koeman's obvious suitability to managing in the Premier League.

In 3 years Williams will be gone, Steklenberg probably will be past his prime and Bolasie will have lost a lot of his pace, while Stones will still be a few years away from his prime. Not sure if Gueye will be able to play with so much energy into his 30s, but who knows?

Anyway, for what we require right now, it appears we got exactly what we needed. Let's hope injury doesn't strike as their replacements don't really bear thinking about: Robles, Mori, McCarthy, Lennon (I do like Aaron tbf).

Yes but in those 3 years we will have won the league, Fa Cup and CL so well worth it lol
