froggyted

Player Valuation: £8m
Well i've just watched the second half of the Newcastle game and i'm saddened. Despite a lot of huff and puff, and lots of possession, once again there was an inability to capitalise in the last third of the pitch, and indeed very little quality.

With teams such as the RS, Arsenal and Spurs doing better than anticipated at the start of the season, as well as good form from dark horses such as Norwich, Swansea, West Brom, QPR and of course the barcodes themselves, i begin to fear a relegation battle for us in the second half of the season, especially as the departure of more of our quality players in the January window seems likely - Fellaini in particular, but possibly Baines and others too. Moreover, if things don't turn around soon i would be very surprised if David Moyes is still here at the start of next season.

Basically, despite having a decent squad (and a bit of bad luck in one or two games), other teams have improved and we have little prospect of doing the same without a hefty injection of cash. Let's face it, this isn't going to happen under Kenwright and his cronies. Maybe as the season progresses, some of those who were against the BU protests a couple of months ago will begin to get the point. Imo, time is running down quickly to a point where the Club gets sucked into a serious and longterm downward spiral, and what happens in the coming months, both on the field and off, is crucial to the outcome of this.

have you not stopped to think that maybe all this negativity is why we're ****e lately? you're daft if you think it doesnt affect the players or backroom staff, how about LETS GET BEHIND THE TEAM, kenwright wasnt on the pitch today, he didnt pick the starting XI, yet as far as the BU are concerned its gotta be kenwrights fault

WTF are you talking about lad, today wasn't about Kenwright it was about a bunch of players not knowing the basics of football

The players all underperform for their ability, and it's the boards fault?
We've just come out of a ridiculously difficult month only to find ourselves playing the on form team. We had chances and didn't take them. Board are irrelevant when it comes to players taking their chances.

It isn't a time to be point scoring off other Evertonians mate.

...is the right answer.

Let's get some perspective, the players underpeformed on the day. We know we've got longer term issues, but they're not solved or made worse by a narrow defeat at Newcastle.

BU is a joke and this is not an pro Kenwright stance, BU is just a bunch of self righteous idiots that may well have good intentions but lack the smarts to complete a grocery list. I'm not happy with the result but our team being crap doesn't suddenly make those tw*ts sound.

Come on lid, that's point scoring too.

If other blues want to get behind this then good luck to them, the club are giving them every reason to.

Let's swerve the whole Blue Union right/wrong debate thing. It's a personal choice and all of us are blues at the end of the day.
