I think its more to the arse licking the likes of John Virgo and Dennis Taylor give him when commentating on him. Plus his whinging and attitude the other year.

Great player, but I always cheer his opponent on. Apparently as a person he has calmed down in recent years and is ok to deal with.

yeah i'm okay with him atm, but yeah, wasn't a fan in years gone by.

not his fault, but he has some guys who follow him in the crowd which sound like utter bellends all the time. why do they have to be so lowd and slur words together to make some annoying noise. they seem to make a point that they can be louder than anyone else in the arena.

i liked that thing they did during the interval about century breaks.

and they were all saying they were 10 years old. 10 fffs! that's not much lower than my highest break! granted i don't or never have played regularly, but i find it such a difficult sport to play.

regarding hendry or o'sullivan - it's definitely hendry. ronnie possibly the more talented, but no doubt hendry is the best of all time.

What a final, o'sullivan is the man for the occasion, unlucky for trump but he will play in many finals. Tonight belongs to Ronnie though!

Great match. Ronnie almost on the receiving end of one of the best fightbacks I've ever seen. To be honest after Trump won that scrappy frame to go 9-5 I thought the fightback was always on as he was always likely relax his game and go for broke.

I do think that Trump is probably the most talented player of the current upcoming generation and will his share of major titles including the world championship in the future. He was a bit arrogant when he burst onto the scene but he's worked on his game and is maturing and improving with experience.

Ronnie, though. 5 Worlds, 5 Masters, and now 5 UKs.

763 competitive century breaks - just 10 behind Hendry's record. This is probably the statistic that is the best proxy for just how good a player is. Ronnie & Hendry way out in front, reflecting that they are without a doubt the 2 best players to have ever played the game.

There has been some praise for Stones (Corinthian praise), there has been some hate for drats fatty Taylor, O'Sullivan is a god amongst gods.

There are naturals. (Oh yeah!) and there are the Beethovens and Bachs.

robertson getting 100 in one season was surreal. that means he could beat their records over 8 seasons! that's just surreal. won't happen obvs, but they've taken 20+ years to get those figures.
