Rolex

Bought in David M Robinson's, Church Alley in 1987 for £2600.

Never faulted once since and now retails several times price paid....

(My Dad thought I was nuts when I bought it and tried to get me to take it back for a refund)

The 007 thing is just a gimmick and is only on the watch if you want it to be. I,ve had mine for 20 yrs and had one repair in all that time . Unless it breaks properly I don't ever intend to replace it, also there's the added bonus that it's worth more now than when I bought it !.

Just about as far away from a watch I'd wear as you could get mate.

Different strokes for different folks though. Ace it's last you that long.

Mine was from Robinsons too, got a friends and family deal off a girl I knew who worked in there at the time. Cost of repairs and services in there is bonkers, found a great old skool jewellers called Meadows in the Swan that's excellent and much much cheaper. I still love looking at the watches in Robinsons even now !
