The picture quality takes some getting used too for sure.
When you're watching for instance one of those American TV police shows, it's almost like you're in the police station with them. Didn't like it at first but you get used to it, takes a while though.

On the plus side, if you're watching the blues, and depending on the camera angle it's almost like you're on the pitch.
You can put them in football mode too but the colours are too bright for me.
Not sure about Sky without the box, ask sky themselves, or try turning it on and off.

How do you watch the games mate

Just read some of that. I'll have a look when I get home. Like I said in my other post the picture is almost too good, but maybe what you posted will help.
Thanks for posting.

Id say its almost 100% down to whats mentioned in that link. Its the most common complaint when people upgrade to modern televisions.

Here's why lots of tv shows and just about all films look weird on modern high refresh rate TVs

I saw this when my parents got their new tv. Hadn't heard of it, but I kept moaning to them that everything looked like Neighbours now!! :o :D

There are a few go to reddit there are spread sheets on there with independent reviews of servers and providers costs etc
most servers will have a 24 hr free trial so don't commit to one get a free trial 1st from as many as you can and pick one before committing
most of them come with a epg 7 day tv guide like sk# or vir#in
also check to see what devices their servers run on android mag box smart tv etc
