They are turning the M27 near me into one. Have been for years.
They’ve said they’d like to jib it off now, but have spent too much money on it already so are going to finish it.

Every sodding road including motorways are now cycle lanes…..

I’m going up for Brentford and not driving. Just said to me dad why, and it’s purely because I’ve not driven at over 50 for years now and I’d be unsafe to do such a long drive right now.
Still not finished it and don’t look in any rush to do so.

The type that runs through Birmingham seems more sensible to me. Hard shoulder is as it should be if normal traffic levels. When congested it is opened up but they have the lower limit to make it safer.

The M6 from 19 down is not. 4 lanes always open, a battle to get over if you have problems.

I try to keep out lanes 1 and 2 if it's busy. Would rather have a car/van go into me than a big lorry.
