Here on GOT and social media I keep seeing fans happy to accept mediocrity.

Poor results are accepted, sub-standard players praised and now we are looking for a manager championship names are being touted for the job.

Kenwright and Moyes have caused over a decade worth of brain washing. Some fans, all media and rival fans view us as plucky little Everton and place us in line with Stoke.

How do we undo it? How do we start challenging for silverware and respect again and get our fans to be optimistic and stop applauding dross?

The other lot across the park despite not being a top club anymore still demand some kind of respect from media and other clubs. Why don't we?

Exactly. We might not be able to do that at board level just yet. But manager down would be a start.

Winners cost money and they will want lots of money to make us winners.
If the owner bottles it and does,nt want to cough up the dough to make us winners then we end up looking up the table and at an empty trophy cabinet.

The quickest fix is to get Mourinho in, it would shock the footballing world and we wouldn't have to deal with questions like...

'Why would he leave Southampton for Everton'

We are where the media put us, we need to change that mentality ourselves.

Who do you want mate?

One name to blame BILL kENWrIGHT. Oh and of course SKY rebranding football and completely destroying history of the English league. We don't even know what Moshiri has planned or his agreement with Bighead, so im not going to act like a Chelsea or Man City fan like some blues are doing lately.

You don't have to be a money club to be successful.

True, but 90% of the time you do. Being hamstrung in the transfer market since 1998 hasnt helped. But the landscape of football is changing, with the amount of money in the prem, means everyone has money now. A new stadium will really move the club forward and the mentality.

Just stop reading the crap in the media, you will soon get over it.

if the views of Danny Mills get you all in a lather, just ignore it.
