The fire rises
Thinking of getting one done, what's posters thoughts on these?

They look awesome if done well, and a great way to put lots of meaningful parts of your life into one tattoo, well that's my plan anyway.

Or in 10 years time are they going to be the next tramp stamp?

As good as they look, you might regret it in a few years time, the next generation are gonna witness pensioners with sleeve tattoo's i wonder what they will look like with flabby/oap skin.

The tribal ones are grim. My mate's got one of the ones with the flowers and stuff and it actually looks boss. In ten years when he's got a wife and kids, though...

The tribal and flowers thing, yeah I'm not so keen on that crap, unless you're Tim Cahill in which case it's ace. Thinking more along the family names thing, Japanese proverbs, an Everton crest somewhere. If it means something to you, you won't give 2 ****s what people think when you're old and wrinkly I guess.

This all over.

I'm having a few tats on me, the first ones will be smaller and be made around September. I might get a bigger one or two later on, but we'll see.

I don't get people going "oh look at him, he's got tattoos, how awful". My body is mine, not yours, why do you care ffs?!

Too right, I know what people mean when they say "it'll look awful when your old", because it probably will. I think that's why I want to make sure it's personal to me. It's so hard trying to come up with all the ideas though I'm telling ya.

Thinking of celebrity ones, I think David Beckham's are pretty decent, Tim Cahill's obviously is meaningful to him because of the Samoan heritage but he can wear it well, but Dale Steyn:

Not liking that sort of thing to be honest. Cool in the moment, that's it though for me.

It is funny when you look at someone and just think 'your tattoos are sh*t' though.

Haha know what you mean though. Some people do get bad jobs done, I feel sorry for them. The bad tattoos well drawn, well that's their personal choice I suppose.

Haha that's honestly awesome, but I wouldn't have the balls to do it.

I reckon Chico's got an Apple one similar.

A couple I know have eachothers' initials tattooed on their stomachs. They're 17 and they've been together two months.

Luckily though I think they're both dickheads and I shall LOL when they come to regret it.

That's a bit crazy. I've never really been a fan of tattoos on other parts of the body, but I like them on the arm (not trying to sound all Purple Aki here FFS). Look good on birds too.

They're so high all the time they probably don't remember it the weird hippie type bastards. He's also got the initials of some lad who went to jail for stabbing him tattooed on his leg. Nuts.

Oh and I must mention that these tattoos are all done by his mate. Who is either completely unqualified or has developed Parkinsons since learning the art.
