Do you get enough sleep?

..no, can’t sleep past 6am since the kids came along and they are both in their 30s now. I’m a very light sleeper, never used an alarm to get up even if I have a very early flight to catch.
Same here
I seem to have my own body clock
Even if I need to get up at an odd time
I'll always beat the alarm

I haven`t had a proper nights sleep in over 15 yrs, anxiety problems > insomnia.

You just e learn to live with being tired all the time !
Yup.

Mine isn't even that anymore (for the most part like). Not enough hours in the day to finish everything I have at/around work, go out for a bit and sleep. Would help if I wasn't in full "arbeit macht frei" mode, but it turns out working actually makes me feel good so...

Sleep loads

Usually, 10-7.30 of a night plus a hour or so nap after work

Still tired alotlol

Usually dont get much sleep on weekends though for what ever reason so its probably why am tryna catch up all week

I've never been able to sleep since I was a kid. My Mum said as a baby I never slept much then as a teenager I would go out walking the dog for 2 hours at 2am because I was wide awake. When I had my first child at 27 I'd do all the night feeds because I was awake and could survive on 3 hours sleep. I'm now 43 and generally get 5-6 hours a night but I always struggle to get to sleep. I'm usually in bed for a good 2 hours before I can fall asleep. I hate getting up in the morning though.

I now ensure that I prioritise having enough sleep after realising that I can't get everything done, and more so if I am overly tired as my productivity wanes.

With children you obviously sleep much less, however I try to go to bed at a suitable time and ensure that I have a period of relaxation before I get into bed.

That's a good plan but I honestly have no time for that, as stupid as it sounds, if I want to have any shred of personal or relaxation time.

My missus gets up at 6 so she can be in work (20 minutes drive) by 8.30.

We have no kids at home, it takes this long for her to release & feed the chickens, feed the dog and preen herself. Even though I'm retired, I get up at the same time, as I can't abide lying in bed unless its for sleep.

The dog's walked by 7.30 and I'm normally in my workshop by 8. Bedtime is 10 -12 depending how I feel.

I sleep the sleep if the just, unlike the wife who has to put up with me and the dog having a snore-off.
