Help needed!
We’re moving to a new place in a couple of weeks and are debating whether to go with Sky or Virgin.
I’ve had SkyQ and internet previously and liked the quality and service, but have no experience with Virgin Media tv or internet so I’m hoping someone on here can advise.
Sky tend to be more expensive but I’ve haggled them down as much as possible.
The two offerings are the most complete packages available:
Full HD and 4K
Sky cinema on both
Sky Sports and BT Sports (both HD) on both
Anytime calls
1 multi room box
18 month contracts
Sky internet is 140mbps download, 20 upload.
Virgin is 600mbps download, 40 upload.
Sky includes Netflix, Virgin we’d have to pay for separately to keep it (which we would, £10 a month).
The prices come in at the following (after averaging out referrals, credit offered etc):
Sky = £91.20 per month (including Netflix)
Virgin Media = £88.17 per month (£78.18 without Netflix)
Who should I go with?
