If Sky and BT are both available in your area. Would you consider paying for two providers or would that be overly expensive? Come to think of it i'm not sure what the costs would be, so, how much for the pair?
Yeah, so I called up Sky and threatened to cancel, thinking they would offer me some amazing deal to stay on.
She put through the cancellation. Ballsy bitch. Going to give them a week to try and get us back or we'll swap to BT.

The cancellation team will try & talk you out of it, they're VERY persistent & will try every angle to try & persuade you to stay on.
I fell out with them over a new HD box, as they wrote & offered me one (& mine was about goosed), but I was on holiday, got back & the offer had expired the day before, so I rang them & explained & asked if I could have the new box. They said no, so I went to customer services (try findng their contact details btw....) & they came back to me & said I could have one. So I rang the number they told me to & they said the 'computer says no' & it'll be £299. So I got back onto customer services & they eventually admitted they'd made a mistake & I couldn't have one - so I told them to poke it right up their arse.
Cancellations did their best to offer me a deal to stay, but I was royally ****ed off by this point & I went to BT.
They kept writing to me & in the end I took them up on their offer of a new box, new dish installation FOC (as I was moving house) & 70% off my full package for 12 months. So there's your yardstick mate - 70% is their limit.
So, BT are apparently close to announcing a £900m (more than doubling the current deal) deal to share rights to show Champions League games with Sky from 2015, meaning that after 20 years CL football will no longer be on terrestrial TV.
[Poor language removed] off football.
...done deal according to Sky News.
