Sky ultra hd

Has anyone else got this? I got it recently and I'm underwhelmed. I have a very good 60 inch TV Samsung by the way

Just watching the cricket now and while it looks slightly sharper it's not really much better than hd. That's compared to when I see something on Netflix or YouTube in uhd and its mind blowing and clearly noticeably better.

I feel as though the definition sky are using or frame rate is very low key uhd and it looks more like glorified hd than true uhd.

Anyone else feel the same?

In my experience with 4k, it doesn't look that much better but it's the colour that comes through.

I wasn't blown away by the picture watching David Attenborough but the colours of the stuff were much better.

Any of that relevant?

I definitely feel the same way. I don't have Sky or a Samsung TV but I just wanted to give a reassuring post to make you feel better.

SKY UHD is not the same quality as true 4K both in picture and sound, there's a notable visual difference (sharper picture) between standard HD and UHD but it's not 4K. Netflix do something approaching 4K but again sound rarely goes beyond Dolby 5.1. The only way you get true 4K for both sound and picture is with 4K blu ray, for which you'll need a 4K blu ray player ... As far as I understand it the ability to provide 4K via Satellite or streaming is down to bandwidth
