Sky subscriber? Discovery blackout.....

Discovery networks have gone to war with Sky over the money Sky pay them for their channels. As a result, all Discovery channels will disappear from Sky as of 1st February:

Happens in the states all the time. A banner comes up in the channel saying it'll disappear unless you call your provider and let them know they should make a deal. It's BS, two companies overcharging for a low quality product fighting like children. The sooner subscription tv bundles die the better off we'll be.

KODI is a victim of it's own popularity - The server streams get swamped for 3PM saturday kick-offs. However KODI offers some other great add-ons such as SportsNation HD. - It's a subscription service. £70 per year for all HD footie streams - no buffering and top quality also loads of great HD movies and SKY1/SKY Living in HD as well.

Depends on what you use in all honesty. There is paid for subs which dedicate the streams themselves so if there is any issues they can manage them, where others seem to pull them from the one location and have no control over quality. I use one called stealth streams which is great but i think they aren't happy about something and might stop it soon.

Agree, Discovery channels are utter garbage now. Used to be full of brilliant factual programs. Now just scripted realty junk.

Television is so yesterday. I fill my day reading GOT or staring at you tube videos of people lathing a tree trunk into a tooth pick, or stupid yanks failing to do back flips off walls onto roofs which inexplicably can't hold their weight. .

Sky ruined football and has taken sports such as cricket from the majority that can't afford subscription - so great - hopes against hope that they topple.
