Only the Premier League and Sky Bet leagues. Which makes you wonder if it's worth it.

Personally I can't help but smile at the prospect of the destruction of Sky. Comeuppance for preying on the vulnerable. With their linking between Sky Bet and SSN.
Are people who gamble really that stupid?

I'm not too sure how I feel about Sky in general although specifically they haven't been good for Everton although I fear BT Sports would be even worse.

I really like BT Sports and what it offers. All it has to do is get rid of David James, Michael Owen, Steve Mcmanaman and Owen Hargreaves. Oh, and Steven Gerrard now too.

Ok I can't hold out any longer. What's an Android box lads?
Same question!

I feel like a dinosaur reading this thread. I just use the laptop to visit an equivalent of first row and then connect the laptop to the tv using an HDMI cable. Most of the stuff being talked about in this thread is a total mystery to me!

Look them up on amazon. Its basically a box plugs into your tv and picks up all the footy and everything else going over the internet. They're already setup too. Plus there's tutorials on youtube if you do have any problems.

Just awaiting the launch of

'BTSportNews HD' now, to rival Sky. BT have more dough than Setanta, and their coverage of US Sports, and basically every other sport is crucial. Smaller companies like PremierSports, are also getting stuck in, small steps though, but they have NHL, and NRL, had Copa America.

I'm enjoying Sky have to resort to proper stupid tactics like '92Live', which is ultimately Cringey as fook, as they try and lure in 20-year old southerners.

SKY win the spanish football rights,so the BT to win reports were wrong
Strange one. really...

The few reports I had read seemed to suggest Sky had pulled out of the second round of bidding as they were unhappy with the negotiations.

That obviously seemed to make it wide open for BT to step in. Either it never happened, or they've eventually come back with a final bid to win.

For Sky to lose La Liga would have been a huge dent to their credibility and undermined their strategy. Doubt they could have let that happen!

Part of me hopes BT did give them a run for their money as it may have dented Sky. However, that would only end up increasing our prices...

In addition, it would also strengthen a fair few of the key La Liga clubs, which only goes to dent the Premier League's growing strength.
