The way football is broadcast in this country needs a huge shakeup. Less players, more journalists. There's a reason why the European football show on BT Sport is the best football show in this country.

I don't know about that mate, have you heard the complete rubbish spouted on the Sunday supplement.

I agree football programmes need to change, the bias for certain teams is rediculas and unfair to other teams fans.

Obviously the journalists would be preapproved by me.

With Sunday Supplement i feel they need to get a mix of the national journalists and local journalists. You watch it and think 'This fella doesnt have a clue about my Football Club', but thats were a Local Journalist would make it better. Theres plenty of shows, a local journo or two that represent each football club would make the show far more balanced.

I would question their knowledge on football in general not just individual clubs. It needs a shakeup.

Don't get why people get worked up about who Sky use to cover games, of that panel pictured only Carragher has recent ties to Liverpool, Redknapp played for both Spurs and Southampton after leaving Anfield while Souness managed Southampton, Newcastle and Blackburn in the top flight after being sacked by the Reds. The other panelist Neville shows very little bias to United as well, unless its derby day or they play us or Liverpool

Yeah I think I'll give that a miss then.

But those 3 are Liverpool fans, and will love to talk about them much more than other teams, despite them being unbiased in terms of what they're saying. I know I'd sway towards talking about Everton much more than the opponent if I was a commentator. I just think it's ridiculous in ideas of balance to have 80% of TV pundits supporting one team. It means that they will dominate talk no matter what

It is the same around the world mate. Liverpool, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea...

All these commentators are all ex-footballers.

yeah but you wouldn't insist to bring everton into every conversation when they're not even relevant like they do though. i'm sure you'd be able to actually talk about the point in hand without having to bring your team in.

that's what grates me so much.

All the neutrals voted for loads of ex-kopites as pundits. They are everyones favourite, so Sky are just responding to customer feedback.

I am sure that must be it.

all of these "experts" moaning about cardiff going down because they sacked mckay gets on my nerves. at not one point did anyone from cardiff football club say they sacked him for footballing results.

not once, surely these "experts" need to be looking at the wider picture and realise this? there's also the fact that mckay has recently apologised for having the nerve to try and take him to court or whatever he was doing.

in no way would he be apologising if he was sacked because of on-field results, so it's blatantly obvious that it wasn't for this reasons.

Aaaah, They felt so sad for Stevie :(

Guess what guys there will be many renditions of the song next season.
