Says it all really. Succinct and saddening. Nothing we didn't all know already but hey.

Sorry if that's soured the mood even more. Here's a picture of a kitten in a toilet to balance things out a bit:

Yes this really puts things in context by contrasting the fortunes of us and them. Every word of it is true. The cutting bit is "Everton had a chance to join them. Has it gone forever?" The failure to come up with the "ringfenced" £30m for 50% of KD as we all know was a watershed in the history of the club. Utterly depressing.

FFS that was depressing.

I hate this ****. Surely Everton will be restored to glory where we belong at some stage in my life...

I already knew what it would say as like most have read the same sort of thing many times but it still makes me feel sick to the stomach to think we could have a state of the art ground more money possible new owners (Citys perhaps) and most of all would be laughing at that shower across the park

I wonder what odds a bookie would give on my seeing Everton win the Premier League in my lifetime, I am 32. I just cant see it :(

Sorry lad but I dont think we will

Imagine the turn around in the club we would need to compete with City/Utd now

The money man we long for is nowhere to be seen

ahhhhh that stadium would've been sickeningly sick

Now having actually the read the article I want to cry
