If your TV doesnt have smart features, get a now TV box. It's less than 15 quid. Or, look at other smart TV boxes/sticks to see which ones do sky go.

I get sky go on my laptop and use a hdmi lead to run it on my tv. works great

load sky go up on the laptop.. add your device - plug HDMI lead in to laptop and the back of the TV. job done.
just have to find what channel the HDMI one is on the tv !

Does that work for Sports and Cinema channels? I thought Sky used to block the HDMI output from them?

get all the sport channels and movies channels (not cinema)
plus all the boxsets are available to view
not possible to get BOX OFFICE - pay per view channels.
Get yerself a dodgy box and there`s nothing you can`t watch.
Some of the suppliers will even tune it and update it for you ( small fee usually ).
Is a dodgy box what cricketers wear?
Or it contains dubious curry powder
