Bit of advise of fellow posters on how you watch Everton ?. Starting to question the value of Sky Sports,It's a lot of money considering I only ever watch Everton matches, rarely if ever do I watch any other teams and satisfy myself by seeing the goals of the other teams on MOTD.
Have it installed as they use to have Rugby Union, and living in Ireland it was a good way to keep a watch on my home town club.but they lost that also.So really I'm paying to watch us live and the hour highlight package.

So,I'm thinking of cancelling the subscription but would still want to watch the Blues. How do posters find Everton TV,do they show the matches ,or extended highlights ?.

BT might seem the way to go ,I take it the skybox can still record programme of that channel ?.I work shifts,so mid week evening games need to be recorded.(except the upcoming Palace game,I'm there for that one !).don't think it's any cheaper though.

surfing the internet and came across "target football",not seen anything of it but it advertises live games and highlighted previous packages, again,it's trying to see mid week games might be an issue.don't think it will work for me as i'd want to see more than 5 minutes of the games. Is it legal ??,or are there legal sites out there ?.

perhaps it's a case of stumping up and shutting up ?.

any advise lids ?

I have Sky because they have the best all round sports coverage of any channel and it's not just football I like watching. I would have BT but only for free through having Infinity broadband, but it's not available in my area so I don't bother as no way am I paying an extra 15 a month for a glorified Liverpool TV.

I mostly watch Everton games on streams though.

streams lad. Can't afford to stump up the money for the legal stuff. not that the poorer quality matters anyway, I'd wake up the household at dumb hours in the morning if I was watching it on tv on the pay per view channels anyway. Can't afford anything else as I'm a student. Headphones and a laptop works perfectly well for me, quieter and portable and i can listen to commentary at the dead hours of the morning.
Our version of Sky just lost viewing rights and they're only availiable via Premier League Pass (a company which shows the games online) so KOFF sky.

Number of matches shown live on Sky Sports 1 2013/2014 season:

United 24
Chelsea 23
City 22
Liverpool 21
Arsenal 20

Everton 10

I've got bt because it's free but I wouldn't pay for it. Had sky sports because it was half price for 6 months but even then if there was an everton game on I usually watched it in the pub

Now it's just the streams

Pretty much exactly this for me.

Streams init.

Football, films, tv, it's all available on the Internet; bit of a hassle locating it but it's a helluva lot cheaper.

I pay £7 every 2 months for a streaming thing which has all Sky Sports, BT, ESPN and the majority of non-televised matches on, all HD etc and pretty much perfect quality. Sometimes a few seconds behind but oh well.
