I understand (from an ITK) that the terms of the deal involve Tim Cahill and Leighton Baines being rested for the game at Wastelands with slight injury - £30M. For the return at Goodison Mikel Arteta, Marouane Fellaini and 4 other players of City's choice to go down with a 'mystery virus' (£20M)
The deal was understood to have included playing Seamus Coleman at left-back in the first game (after reviewing his successful debut at Benfica) but the recent injury to the young Irish international has now placed the deal in doubt.#
City are still understood to be deeply upset after last year's agreement to play Victor as a lone striker at Wastelands didn't bring about the desired result for them - an Everton official (who did not wish to be named) said "we did give them an excellent chance to take 3 points from the game at their place. Obviously the players selected we're not in on the whole deal but I must say I was rather hoping to get my £100K bonus after persuading The Boss to put Victor up front and put Billy on the pitch for some match time. As well as the £10K I lost on the scorecast I was pretty gutted"
