Well Wales have been playing “Warrenball” for 11 years now and despite its spectacular success and some stunning play , during the lean times he’s been criticised in Wales for the lack of style. Next 6N will be interesting with Wayne Pivac taking over from Gatland and bringing a more attacking approach to Wales , plus Shaun Edwards Defence Coach is leaving too so it is likely to be a different style from Wales next 6N.

Probably not actually. Although end of a WC cycle who knows

No Townsend is contracted until 2021. The RWC results could influence things. You’d expect Scotland to get out of their Group and likely play the All Blacks in the Quarter finals, so no disgrace if they go out then and Townsend would retain his job. Eddie Jones has signed an extension until 2021, again you’d expect them to get out of their RWC Group, he’s toast if they don’t. Then are likely to play Wales/ Australia in the Quarters with expectations of reaching the Semis , but provided they don’t disgrace themselves with an early or poor exit, he should survive. France? Who knows, they could have two new coaches in the next 12 months. Andy Farrell taking over Ireland after the RWC is the intriguing one , though with his background also including England and the Lions and his attitude to the game you’d think he’ll be a success.
