Sissoko?

It needs to start from the bottom as well as the top.

there seems to be this idea that footballers need to act more responsibly, in order to be better role models for kids.

Whilst that may be true, if I had a kid, the first thing I'd tell him about this is the only time you should use a footballer as a role model is when you're playing football. Complaining that your kid swears or is violent because he watches football is a complete cop out.

You've got to aspire to better role models than that.

Can't argue with that, look at local football, they struggle to get people to referee these days, why? because they regularly get beat up, astonishing(y)

I merely mentioned the 'outrage' felt by many towards the guy purely because he went to another club over us should be no reason not to sign him.

Basically Bruce that isn't the reason given by most, he is crap as proven last night mate

He's been poor this season certainly but did well last. I'm not really sure the reason for the drop in form but it has been dramatic.

His eye injury, has to be mate, his timing is none existant (it was never that good anyway) and it must have had some effect on his passing ability.

But there again you state that players act selfishly and presumably regard it as ok so long as that selfishness works in our favour.

Sissoko clearly thought at the time that working for a manager he's familiar with and for a club in the Champions League was better for him. They may even have offered him more money, I really don't know. Maybe it's simply because he went to Liverpool, I don't know. Phil Neville has come to us from Man Utd and done a sterling job, both as player and captain. If Moyes decides he wants to sign Sissoko then he'll have my backing.

Fernandes is slightly different because the manner he departed in wasn't professional, and I suspect that will bar Moyes from signing him in future. Even then though it's probably a bit rich to assume that a teenager knows all the correct social and professional protocols. Maybe his agent turned his head with talks of a return to Iberia and regular CL football.

There's a lot we don't know because we're not privvy to all the information. All I know is that people are allowed to make mistakes in life without being condemned indefinately.

Except on GOT.

I had heard two names, one is the Valencia player named in the press this morning the other was Pongolle, the ex Liverpool player who paid us a remarkable tribute that brought about his demise with the [Poor language removed], remember the people on the street support EFC. In fairness I have been unable to corroborate either but that is what the whisper was I know no more(y)
