Much to my disappointment, last Thurs Jan 15, Sirius XM channel 94 discontinued transmission.
This is very frustrating as it was one of the best sources if Football news and commentary for us Canadians who try and follow the sport.
It is bizarre in that it was very abrupt and in the middle of the season, and I suspect there is something going on behind the scenes.
A complaint to Sirius resulted in the following response
We can advise that SIRIUSXM FC, Channel 94, is no longer provided via
our satellite service as of January 15, 2015. This channel will continue
to broadcast online through SIRIUSXM Internet Radio until February 26,
2015.
Such changes are a direct result of contractual negotiations and the
overall listener numbers and demand for content.
At this time we have no information as to when or if this channel will
return.
So if this of a concern to any other Canadian listeners, fire off a complaint to Sirius XM at
customercare@siriuscanada.ca
If they get enough feed back maybe this can be reversed....
