Throw shaka, not shade.
Sir Jack has passed away at the ripe old age of 91.

Well known in football as a chairman and owner of Wolves, he was a generous philanthropist towards my adopted city of Bristol. Among other altruistic projects, he paid for the rusting hulk of the SS Great Britain to be towed back to her hometown from the Falklands and beautifully restored.

Isambard Kingdom Brunel's steamship is one of the most important in maritime history. If ever you're in Bristol she's well worth a visit. The restoration project was a brilliant success, the visitor centre is packed full of history and the setting is superb.

A life well lived. A legacy to endure.

Sir Jack Hayward. 1923 - 2015.
