Absolute legend.

Won stuff with Ipswich too (as my old man reminds me often!)

Would have loved him to have managed Everton at some point.

I think he nearly did at one point but they leaked it before it was sorted at the Ipswich end and it fell through. shame.
somebody will know the fuller version I'm sure

Lovely man, I even briefly liked newcastle whilst he was in charge. Propper gent and likeable charricter. Seemed to be one of the few managers who's career improved after managing Ingurlund. (That 5 years went by fast).

Not sure about improved. He was generally pretty brilliant throughout.

People forget/don't realise how phenomenal he was at Ipswich.

I think I may well have forgotten what he achieved during his Ipswich spell, when I started really getting into following football he had just left them.
Since Bobby Robson most England managers careers have gone on a downward spiral after leaving, he seemed to just carry on the good work.

One of very few, genuinely world class, English managers in my lifetime (in any time). Added to that the man was a class act as a human being. Total respect.
