which Everton result in your lifetime gave you the absolute greatest pleasure and why?
I plump for Everton 3 Sheffield Wednesday 2
FA cup final
I didn't know my team could come from 2-0 and win
Life lesson about football
Probably the Farrelly game as I was there and the emotional scale wasn't from normal anticipation/hope to joy it was from despair to joy which was amazing to experience. Saying that I hope I don't want to have to experience it again or any Everton fan in the future to.

...I hated those two cliff edge games. The results were clearly significant but being sick in your stomach for 90mins is something I never want to experience again. It's the reason I wouldn't wish relegation on anybody (with one exception).

FA Cup v Watford.

Then, almost all of the results from the 1984-85 season. Far FAR too many fabulous performances and results to mention.

Obviously the win at Anfield, the Bayern Munich game etc. But there were other gems, we literally obliterated everyone we played for the most part, scoring 3-4 goals. Think Sunderland, Leicester, Watford, Newcastle, MAN UNITED, Notts Forrest. The Man United game - 5-0 was the greatest performance I have ever seen from and Everton team, so that one gets my vote. We absolutely annihilated them in a stunning performance over the whole 90 minutes. It was tear inducing at the final whistle, tears of joy. My hero, Adrian Heath ran them effin ragged!

For me, strangely, having seen us sweep all before us in the eighties it was the Spurs cup semi-final. They have Klinnsman, Sheringham etc and we weren't given a chance. I remember saying to my sister "I know we're going to lose but I hope we score just so I can get that feeling" and then we stuffed them. We had 3 sides of the ground so it felt like a home match. The final was a bit meh tbh, even though we won. Also I spent most of 1995 out of work and football became far too important, so that cup run really kept me going.

I've seen us win leagues , cups and a European trophy .

The Wimbledon game was the most emotional without a doubt not sure it was pleasure but raw emotion nothing to compare .
Totally agree.

We sort of knew we would beat Bayern as we were that good.
When Limpar gave away the pen right in front of me.. Wow.
Only time me arl fella has left his seat during a game.
I didn't, I had utter faith.. And I've never let him forget it.
